- The patient will not be allowed to drink or eat for nearly about two to three days, after which began drinking water. This is because bariatric surgery deals with the stomach.
- The patients who have undergone the surgery are strictly prohibited to drink and kind of sugar added beverages for nearly about three to four months.
- The patient will let discharge home only when the patient can drink adequate amount of water.
